The Xenarcs shine at 3,200 lumens per bulb, which, while not the highest on the power scale, still pack a punch when compared to most D3S bulbs.

An important factor that caught my eye is that they’re fully legal, both for on and off-road use.

They don’t follow the pack with a 6,000K temperature, like Torchbeams and Sinoparcels. Instead, these bulbs emit a more natural white light at 4,300K.

Now, I’m someone who usually gravitates towards the pure white 6,000K aftermarket bulbs because of the unbeatable clarity.

However, I found the Osram D3S HIDs surprisingly comfortable. They weren’t as glaring. If you’re someone who’s looking for an upgrade without the stark white light, these bulbs are a great compromise.

These bulbs, emitting a somewhat warmer light, are especially good at cutting through fog or mist. They give out a light that is crisper than the soft, fuzzy light that 3,000K halogens provide.

You can expect a noticeable improvement if you’re used to halogens, be they high or low, making your nighttime driving safer.

On the power front, these are on par with Torchbeam and Sinoparcel, drawing 70 watts of power per set.
