This is our review of the brightest 5×7 LED headlights.
Aftermarket 5×7 LED headlights can be a great upgrade for your car’s stock lighting setup. Most options these days offer a dramatic improvement in performance, aesthetics, and even longevity compared to stock bulbs.
Partsam’s 5×7 LED headlights are our top pick. Here, we have headlights that use the latest CREE LED chips for better brightness, improved efficiency, and the like. The fitment is effortless, so you can pretty much plug and play on your car.
Still, the competition is stiff and there are a couple other 5×7 headlights that demand your attention.
We’ve been testing and reviewing headlights for over a decade. So if you need help finding the brightest 5×7 LED headlights, you can count on us to give you an informed opinion.

Partsam’s 5X7 LED headlights have it all. This is one of the most well-built 5×7 LED headlights units on the market, and the performance isn’t anything to scoff at either. Really, it’s the complete package, and a great upgrade for your car.
One of the most important features of an aftermarket 5×7 LED headlight is the quality of build. And in that regard, Partsam really went above and beyond.
The entire outer shell of this unit is made of high quality aluminum, making it extremely durable. The same is true for the heatsink, which allows for better heat management.
The lens itself is made from PMMA material. There are a couple benefits to using this instead of the regular polycarbonate you see on most headlight units.
For one, it is less prone to yellowing over time, which can reduce the beam’s effectiveness. It is also quite durable and less prone to cracking or shattering.
Moving on to performance, these LEDs use the latest CREE chips for better efficiency and improved light output.
And the results speak for themselves. These 5×7 LED headlights generate a healthy 2500 lumens of brightness on the low beam setting, and a blistering 5600 lumens for the high beam.
That is a significant upgrade over weak stock bulbs, and makes nighttime driving that much safer and more comfortable.
Helping the brightness along is the color profile of these 5×7 LED headlights. They are rated to generate between 5000 and 6000K.
That means you get a whiter, more aesthetically pleasing look for your car that also makes it a lot easier to spot road signs, pedestrians, and other vehicles on the road.
Adding even more durability to the whole package is the IP67 rating, which prevents any moisture or dust from getting inside the 5×7 LED headlight assembly and causing problems.
And if any moisture does build up in the headlight over time, you can pretty easily let it out via the ‘breathing hole’ integrated into the back.
Power consumption is surprisingly low for such a high performance set of 5×7 LED headlights. In fact, these headlights need significantly less power compared to stock bulbs, despite the notably higher performance.
It is the combination of that efficient power consumption and the durable build that allows these 5X7 LED headlights to last for as long as 50,000 hours. That’s over 5 times as much as stock headlight bulbs, making your purchase that much more worthwhile.

- More resistant to yellowing
- 5000K-6000K color profile
- Breathing hole for evacuating moisture build up
- Power consumption is lower than stock

Cons
- Instruction manual isn’t the most well-laid out
- Not the brightest in this category
Ledmircy’s 5×7 LED headlight offering may not be as high performance as our top pick, but it still has the same quality of build, comparable power efficiency, and plenty of other useful features.
We were worried that the build of these budget-friendly 5×7 LED headlights would be compromised. However, we were pleasantly surprised by just how well-made these headlights are.
They feature a durable aluminum housing that keeps them lightweight but also enables higher resistance to damage. The lens is made of a similar PMMA material as our top pick, so you shouldn’t be too worried about yellowing, cracking, and the like.
We had hoped that the performance side of things would benefit from the same no-compromise treatment, but that proved to be asking too much of these 5×7 LED headlights.
They can only muster about 2800 lumens of brightness for the low beam, and the high beam doesn’t see the biggest improvement with 3800 lumens. To be fair, that’s a decent improvement over stock headlights, though it pales in comparison to other aftermarket units.
But again, that’s where the bad news pretty much stops. Luyed brings it right back to high-performance LED headlight territory with a 6000K color profile. This, paired with the stable light and uniform beam pattern makes spotting obstacles in your path a breeze.
Here, we were impressed by the inclusion of an anti-flicker harness that integrates right into the circuit board and prevents blurriness, flickering, and other unsightly stuff that could ruin the look of your car.
Similarly, the heatsink allows this 5×7 LED headlight to shed heat faster than the LEDs can generate it! We never had any hiccups or overeating issues, so it definitely works.
One benefit of the slightly lower performance is that the power consumption is even lower than on other aftermarket 5×7 LED headlights. This is important if you’re installing these headlights on an older vehicle that may not have much power to spare.
And a rarity in the budget-friendly 5×7 LED headlight world, we have an IP68 water and dustproof rating. So feel free to slap these headlights on your car or truck and go off-roading!
You also get a breathing hole, similar to the one on our top pick. This lets you quickly evacuate any moisture that may have built up inside the headlight.
Overall, all of the efficient power consumption and durability features combine to give you over 50,000 hours of service life. That’s in line with LED headlights that are two times the price of these ones.
One complaint that we have with these 5×7 LED headlights is that the instruction manual is not the most intuitive. More than that, it’s also not the most accurate thing in the world either. We say this because the actual terminal connections don’t match what the manual describes.
But other than that, the installation is pretty easy and we didn’t have very many issues.

- Can last up to 50,000 hours
- Efficient power consumption

Hwstar’s 5X7 LED headlights take the ‘more is more’ approach to performance. Suffice it to say, these 5×7 LEDs give you all of the performance and then leave you to figure out what to do with it.
The headline feature here is the performance. These 5X7 LED headlights deliver the performance of any headlight in their class, coming in at over 6500 lumens for the low beam, and an equally stunning 9500 lumens for the high beam.
More than just raw brightness, these LEDs offer a longer throw and wider angle of view. This is ideal if your commute involves a lot of wider highways and country roads, where you need every bit of illumination necessary.
Unlike the other 5×7 LED headlights, Hwstar’s unit comes with built-in turn signals and DRLs. These add a ton of utility, while also helping justify the higher price of these 5×7 LED headlights.
The turn signals shine a brilliant amber, while the DRL constantly runs white. Both are really bright and easy to see, even in direct sunlight.
As for the headlight itself, it is a cooler color temperature than most stock bulbs, and even other aftermarket options. We liked the highly uniform beam pattern and how stable the beam stays at night. So you can forget about blurriness or dark spots marring your line of sight.
High longevity seems to be this 5X7 LED headlight’s feature. It has surprisingly efficient power consumption for how bright and powerful it is, which certainly helps boost longevity.
Meanwhile, the IP68 water and dust proof rating prevents these headlights from getting damaged due to moisture buildup or accumulation of dust in the sensitive internal components.
All said and done, these 5×7 LED headlights can deliver up to 100,000 hours of lighting. That puts them squarely at the top of their class, and helps further justify the higher price.
